I've been to Poland and this is as close to the most authentic food that you can get. Our family comes up for a hockey tournament every year and we always make a point to stop here when we're up. I've ordered almost everything and don't think you can go wrong with any selection. In fact, we had a unique occurrence and the chef was kind enough and made us a dinner after having already closed down the kitchen. The waitress was very accommodating and couldn't have asked for better hospitality.

This is one of those hidden gems in northern Michigan. It's as authentic as it gets. And we enjoyed listening to the Polka radio station too. It's impossible to leave here hungry. It's all so good.

My wife and I have moved The Old Polish Corner to the top of our Michigan restaurant list. The intersection of food, atmosphere, friendly staff, and fair pricing puts this epic little restaurant in first place. The food truly is indescribably good. Don't hesitate to try something you've never heard of or eaten in the past. It's all good. The staff is always cheerful and fills the little place with positive energy. My sense is any person no matter their stripes would be welcome and happy at Polish Corners. Don't let the road repair in front of the restaurant stop you from visiting. It's easy to go around the block and get a close parking spot right on the nearest side street. In short, make your way to The Old Polish Corner ASAP.
